Prophesy Transportation Solutions is rolling out a web-based “pay as you go” dispatch solution geared for smaller trucking and brokerage companies. Part of its DispatchSeries Software Solution, the solution allows users to introduce basic dispatching tools into their business at a low initial cost and manageable monthly subscription rate.

“This affordable solution fills a gap for smaller trucking companies,” said Bill Ashburn, vice president for ProphesySeries. “This group has traditionally purchased less substantial and lower-priced solutions out of necessity, yet quickly become frustrated with the lack of power and functionality found in these lightweight offerings. Today we are able to offer a robust solution with all the power expected from the Prophesy name, in a method and price small trucking companies can easily manage.”

He added that the “pay as you go” option should enhance the affordability of the Prophesy Dispatch web-based package, which already requires an Internet connection and minimal set up, with no expensive hardware or software to purchase or upgrade.
