Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS) has announced a TripPak MOBILE smart-phone application is now available for download to Android platform enabled smart phones. TripPak MOBILE was first launched as an iPhone app in July.

The company said the two apps provide “drivers with the ability to update their trip status, confirm pick-up and delivery with signature capture, and capture trip documents for submission – all from the driver’s smart phone. With TripPak MOBILE, drivers have the most convenient document submission method available. With TripPak MOBILE, drivers capture their trip documents with the smart phone camera, assign the documents to the correct trip, and conveniently upload to their fleet.”

The Android app is “the next step in our deployment of the TripPak MOBILE smart phone application,” said Kelley Walkup, division vp & gm of ACS. “By adding new platforms, we are increasing the availability of the application to drivers, as TripPak MOBILE becomes the primary document submission method for the trucking industry.”

For drivers to use the apps, fleets must be signed up with TripPak MOBILE. For more information, go to www.trippak.com.
