YardMaster Truck, a software solution designed to address tasks related to weighing, inspecting, documenting, and overall shipping operations for bulk and liquid products, has been upgraded with more functionality for industrial shippers.

Version 2.0 of the Bourque Logistics software product supports truck inspection management, scale integration for automated weight capture and scale ticket printing. The module can also manage the loading of liquid products and provides complex volume correction calculations based on product temperature and gravity or density, Bourque said.

Tank and product associations can be made and validation checks can be performed at the time of loading/off-loading.

The updated version also allows for the automatic generation of a bill of lading and customs documentation from an order, pattern, or manually. At time of arrival, the software module enables check-in processing for driver and carrier credentials if required and the bill of lading destination can be modified if needed.

“Our customers have asked for this added capability and now we provide it,” said Steve Bourque, president. “With over 200 plant and terminal facilities using the YardMaster system for rail shipments, our clients can now leverage the same process for their truck shipping operations.”

By using the software, the user can print the bill of lading for the driver and email a PDF to partners and customers, the company said.
