Cadec Global has announced that Publix Super Markets, Inc. has purchased and will implement the company’s Mobius TTS on-board computers and software on the more than 600 trucks in its private fleet.

According to Cadec, Publix chose the Mobius system and software because it could easily integrate with its other enterprise systems. In addition, Publix preferred to have on-premise software rather than a have it hosted by a third party.

"Cadec was able to provide all of the fleet management features and functionality we need in one package,” said Maria Brous, Publix director of media and community relations. “In addition, the fact that we could run Cadec on-site was a major factor in our decision.”
