Navteq has updated its Traffic Patterns North America v4.0 software with an historic database that improves travel time accuracy 41%, the company says. The program includes highway-to-highway ramp coverage for New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta and Detroit; holiday traffic appendices and expanded coverage on high-volume surface roads and additional probe sources for existing roads. www.navteq.com
