Glacier Computer has released the Ridgeline tablet computer with Intel Core 2 Duo processor for customers in the warehouse, freight, distribution and field service markets. The rugged PC includes a battery charger, docking station and accessories and is designed for harsh environments with temperature, vibration, shock and moisture extremes, the company said.

Garmin will use Navteq Traffic's RDS delivery service and interactive advertising service for the Nuvi 755T, 765T, 775T and 2×5 GPS systems to power its traffic alerts service. The system delivers data via FM radio. There will be no subscription fee required for the service since it will allow “contextually relevant advertising over its RDS network.
