Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp. has announced that Todd Bloom will be the new president and CEO of its American operation, Mitsubishi Truck of America (MFTA).
Bloom most recently served as VP of marketing and fleet operations for Isuzu Commercial Truck of North America. He had also served as VP of marketing for General Motors Isuzu Commercial Truck, a joint light and medium truck operation that was dissolved in 2007. Before joining Isuzu, Bloom held a number of positions with Iveco in the U.S., Italy and the United Kingdom.
Bloom will be based in MFTA’s Logan Township, NJ, headquarters and will be responsible for all U.S. business operations. He succeeds Takeo Ishimaru, who will remain as CFO of MFTA.
Mitsubishi Fuso is part of the Daimler Trucks Division of Daimler AG. MFTA is a wholly owned subsidiary selling Class 3 through 7 COE trucks in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.
