Navistar Engine Group regionalizes operations

Navistar Engine Group, an operating unit of Navistar, has reorganized into three regional business units to “better focus on its expanding customer base around the world,” the company said. The three units will be North America, South America and Global, and each will be led by veteran Navistar executives.

In addition to the new structure, the company made a number of personnel appointments as well. Eric Tech will lead Navistar Engine Group, being named president after serving as vp and gm. Andy Dondlinger has been named vp &d gm of the North American unit. He was gm of the company’s Vee and Inline business units.

Formerly director of sales and marketing for MWM-International, the company’s South American engine business, Jose Eduardo Luzzi will be the vp & gm of the Global operations unit. David LaPalomento, currently, vp of worldwide sales & marketing, has been named vp of Global Integration. Jim Jesionowski has been appointed director, Global Manufacturing Engineering and Quality.  Staying on as president and CEO of the South American engine operation, MWM-International, will be Waldey Sanchez.
