To further educate the public regarding its 18-point safety agenda, the American Trucking Assn. (ATA) has produced three videos detailing the proposals. The videos can be found at http://www.truckline.com/safety.

The videos feature ATA president and CEO Bill Graves, Barbara Windsor, safety task force chair, Dave Osiecki, ATA vp of safety and Jim Tipka, vp of engineering, discussing the initiatives.

“Our safety initiatives contain lessons for all highway users, and these videos will help car and truck drivers alike be safer on the road,” said Windsor, vice chair of ATA’s Board of Directors and president and CEO of Hahn Transportation Inc. in New Market, MD.

An overview video details the reasons ATA chose to focus on the proposed 18 safety policies. Additional videos, “ATA Safety Recommendations to Improve Driver Performance” and “ATA Recommendations to Make Vehicles and Motor Carriers Safer” explore each of the policy proposals.
