Five good things that happened in trucking this week – Aug. 28

Aug. 28, 2020
The trucking community continues to prove how it will sustain no matter what happens.

The end of August usually brings last minute getaways and back-to-school prep as the days slowly begin to end earlier and earlier. This August, days are still ending earlier, schools are still prepping, and people are still getting away, with an added global pandemic, rocking hurricanes and social unrest. But as life goes on, so does trucking. Here are five good things that happened in trucking this week.

As the world continues to prepare for the school year, so are teachers. And so is this Texas kindergarten teacher, Jennifer Birch Pierson who is doing everything she can to make sure her five-year-old students stay entertained and safe during the “new normal” of the coming school year. How can kindergartners stay entertained in the classroom you may ask? By having trucking desks, of course!
