LinkAmerica gains top level certification from SmartWay

LinkAmerica Corp. has achieved top level certification as a SmartWay Transport Partner. LinkAmerica is a transportation solutions provider.

LinkAmerica has committed to reducing its environmental impact by improving the performance of its freight delivery operations division, specifically through a recent increase in standard mpg, the company said.

SmartWay is a collaborative effort between government, shippers, carriers and logistics companies that have promised to cut emissions of carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter, saving between 3.3 and 6.6 billion gal. of fuel each year by 2012.
