Diesel Direct announced the acquisition of all assets of Pure Energy.  The strategic purchase includes all mobile fueling customers, a full portfolio of biodiesel products, and Pure Energy’s sustainable energy intellectual property.  In addition, all full-time employees, including the owner of Pure Energy, have joined Diesel Direct.

Diesel Direct will utilize its recent growth and this acquisition to reorganize and strengthen its current sustainable energy portfolio,” the company said. With the addition of Pure Energy’s Intellectual Property and suite of renewable energy products, Diesel Direct said it will unveil its new portfolio of services and products under the name of Pure Energy by Diesel Direct, which will include renewable fuels, bio fuels, and emissions reducing products. In addition, Diesel Direct said it will increase its own use of sustainable fuels including biodiesel and Diesel Exhaust Fluid, in order to advance its own sustainable energy plan.

Mike Cataldo, founder and owner of Pure Energy, joined the Diesel Direct team as director of business development.  “This was a very appealing opportunity for Pure Energy,” he said. “Diesel Direct is a national leader in mobile fueling.  They provide outstanding on-site fuel delivery services.  Plus, they are committed to providing sustainable fuels and services, keeping right in line with Pure Energy’s green philosophy.”

“We are truly excited about the Pure Energy brand addition to Diesel Direct,” president and CEO Bill McNamara said. “This purchase will help us expand our renewable energy offerings, enabling us to provide our customers with more options which support their sustainability goals.”
