Unveiling the Tesla Semi Class 8 tractor

The long-awaited all-electric Tesla Motors Class 8 highway tractor makes its official debut.

Resembling a rock concert more than a truck unveiling, Elon Musk – CEO of Tesla Motors – said he believes the company’s new all-electric highway tractor, dubbed the “Semi,” will revolutionize trucking when it hits the road in 2019.
