Dorsey Trailer opens new manufacturing facility

Dorsey Trailer has opened a new manufacturing facility in Elba, AL. The 55,000 sq. ft. facility increases Dorsey’s footprint to over 850,000 sq. ft.

“Our customers rely on us to provide a quality product in a timely manner. The production capacity added from this new facility will help us meet market demand and satisfy our customer’s needs,” said Trey Gary, president.

The facility is located about 1 mi. from the company’s corporate headquarters.

Dorsey manufactures a variety of truck trailers including steel and composite flatbeds, drop decks, extendable flatbeds and drop decks, open top and closed top chip vans, and specialty trailers.
