TreadWright rolls outs new mud terrain light truck tires

June 21, 2016
Company says its tires are made with 70% recycled content using a European manufacturing process called remolding.

Houston, TX-based TreadWright Tires is introducing a new line of off road light truck tires dubbed the Claw II MT Series; a line of tires featuring a specially designed mud-terrain tread pattern to boost 4x4 off-road performance.

The company added that the narrow lug design of the Claw II also provides more surface area, preventing excessive road noise when driving on the highway.

TreadWright added that its tires are made with 70% recycled content, including premium brand tire casings, using a European manufacturing process called “remolding.”

As a result, Claw II MT series tires are produced using 65% less oil compared to standard off-road light truck tires and consume less energy in the manufacturing process as well.

Backed by a two-year workmanship warranty, TreadWright ‘s Claw II MT Series tires are available now in 33-in. and 35-in. widths with 18-in. and 20-in. rim sizes, with prices starting at $204.99 per tire.
