Getting to know Kalmar Ottawa's T2

Trucking industry journalists gathered in Ottawa, KS, last week to tour Kalmar Ottawa’s newly renovated factory and to experience firsthand the company’s newly designed T2 terminal tractor. Since the T2 rolled off the assembly line this year, the company has sold 625 trucks and has another 800 on order.“Our company invented the purpose-built terminal tractor more than 50 years ago, right here in Ottawa, Kansas,” sales and marketing vice president Dave Wood said. “As you can see, we’ve come a long way from the simple apple-box seat and open-air cockpit of the prototype to the ergonomically designed, modern-day T2 terminal tractor.”Read more about the new T2 tractor and the company’s history.
