Last week, Pressure Systems International, makers of the Meritor Tire Inflation System by P.S.I., hosted about 100 customers at its new production facility in San Antonio, TX, as part of its Fleet Technology Event. Just opened in August, the facility is approximately twice the size of the previous P.S.I. facility, and also houses corporate offices.
Inside, attendees were given a tour and first-hand look at the production of the product. Before the tour started, Jonathan Gravell, director of technical services and customer support, gave a brief product overview, including the fact that most new trailers are now leaving factories prepped for inflation system installation in the field, and the point that P.S.I. now has over 1 million MTIS by P.S.I. products in the field today.
