Here are the top 10 petroleum fleets, according to the 2025 FleetOwner 500: For-Hire list.

The 2025 FleetOwner 500: For-Hire list ranks the most prominent motor carrier and commercial fleet operations in the U.S. by total registered power units. Released in February, the FO500 saw many ranking shifts after a busy 2024 of carrier acquisitions, mergers, consolidations, and expansions.

In addition to ranking the largest for-hire fleet operations overall, FleetOwner breaks down these companies into categories based on equipment, cargo types, and industry segments. This media gallery focuses on petroleum fleets.
