Moving nuclear-tipped long-range missiles is not a simple task, but specialized U.S. Air Force "missile maintenance squadrons" make it look easy. Surrounding their customized "payload transporters" with armored and armed trucks, along with helicopter gunships providing air cover overhead, the squadrons can rapidly relocate nuclear missiles via ground transport anywhere in the contiguous lower-48 states.
