Con- Way Central Express (CCX), a subsidiary of Ann Arbor, MI-based LTL carrier Con-Way Transportation services, has appointed Gary Tankersley director of linehaul operations.
Tankersley, a veteran trucking executive with 27 years of experience, will be responsible for the night and daytime long-haul movement of all of CCX’s freight in 25 states and 10 Canadian provinces. Linehaul shipments move mostly at night between Con-Way freight assembly centers where it is either staged for local delivery the next day or reshipped to other markets and regions across the country for final delivery, the company said.
