AutoXray Inc. has signed a five-year agreement with Eaton Corp. to provide a new line of mobile diagnostics tools and service products for commercial vehicle service.

The new line of tools manufactured by AutoXray will be the first entry in an evolving line of products and services Eaton will provide to the commercial vehicle service marketplace under the trademark Eaton MD. AutoXray said the tool sets, options and accessories will be offered in 2003.

"Our ability to communicate using current trucking industry standards and to add new standards as they are introduced ensures that Eaton's diagnostic tools will be the most flexible and affordable in the market," said AuroXray president William Miller.

The MD Tool series will support service technicians in diagnosing most vehicle electronic systems that communicate over the diagnostic link on a truck.
