Jevic Transportation Inc., a subsidiary of SCS Transportation, announced it has been approved for a number of border-crossing certifications. Jevic is now a Canadian Customs Self Assessment (CSA) and Free and Secure Trade (FAST) approved carrier.
“Jevic has a long history of efficient and secure cross-border service. These approvals will add another dimension to our capabilities,” said Jevic president & CEO Paul J. Karvois. “Our participation underscores the company’s commitment to meeting the stringent security standards set forth by both countries and our focus on advancing supply chain security.”
These certifications enable Jevic to take part in the FAST program, a joint effort between the U.S. and Canada to ensure security while expediting the screening of shipments across the border.
