Southeastern Freight Lines names service center manager

Southeastern Freight Lines has promoted Matt Hughes to the position of service center manager in Jackson, TN. Hughes was most recently operations manager in Charleston, SC.

Hughes began his career with Southeastern in June, 2002 as a freight handler in Valdosta, GA, before progressing to the role of management trainee.

He has since served as outbound and inbound supervisor in Orlando, Fla. and as operations manager in Charleston, S.C.

“Matt has a clear understanding of our culture, believing in and supporting our Quality Improvement Process,” said David Turner, regional vice president of operations, Southeastern Freight Lines. “He has a natural sense of servant leadership and deep appreciation for his fellow associates. We are confident that he will prove to be a great addition to the Jackson team.”
