Averitt names Rich Egan VP of international solutions
Averitt has appointed Rich Egan as the company’s new VP of international solutions. Egan, who brings over 40 years of experience in the transportation industry and has specialized in international logistics since 1990, will assume the position held by the retiring Charlie McGee.
Since joining Averitt in 2019 as director of international solutions, Egan has played a role in shaping the company’s global logistics strategy. His expertise and commitment to service excellence have contributed to Averitt’s growth in this sector. In his new role, Egan will lead the international solutions team and drive strategic initiatives to enhance Averitt's global logistics offerings.

Merchants Fleet welcomes Blair Hendrix to board of directors
Merchants Fleet recently appointed Blair Hendrix to its board of directors.
With over 24 years of leadership in private equity, value creation, and operational strategy, Hendrix’s addition reinforces Merchants’ commitment to growth.

Hendrix recently retired from his role as a partner and leader of Bain Capital’s North America Private Equity Portfolio Group. During his time at Bain Capital, he served on over a dozen corporate boards across industries including technology, health care, and industrials.

Grote Industries promotes Cesar Perez-Bolivar to global VP of engineering
Grote Industries recently promoted Cesar Perez-Bolivar, PhD., to global VP of engineering.
Perez-Bolivar has been with Grote Industries for 12 years and has spent the past year leading an operational excellence initiative for Star Safety Technologies by Grote. Before the Star assignment, he held various leadership positions in engineering and operations, most recently leading operations at Grote Electronics in Waterloo, Canada.
As global VP of engineering, Perez-Bolivar will be responsible for the engineering processes for the global engineering team. As Grote continues to implement new technology and business systems, his experience and leadership will guide the growth of the headlamp, warning and hazard, and networks product portfolios, as well as other new solutions.
