TMC installs a new general chairman and treasurer, and Fleet Advantage makes key promotions across departments.

TMC names Radu Mihai general chairman & treasurer

The American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council recently announced Radu Mihai, corporate fleet manager at BURNCO Rock Products, has been appointed as 2025-2026 general chairman and treasurer during the organization’s Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition.

“Radu has been an exemplary member of TMC, including winning the Council’s highest honor — the Silver Spark Plug,” Robert Braswell, TMC executive director, said. “His professionalism and commitment to trucking make him an outstanding choice to be TMC general chairman and treasurer.”

Mihai, based in Calgary, Alberta, served the past year as the Council’s vice chairman and chairman of meetings. He succeeds Amanda Schuier, strategic maintenance director of Jetco Delivery, as general chairman and treasurer.

“I’m honored to accept this position from my fellow TMC members,” Mihai said. “I look forward to working with the rest of TMC’s leadership to advance our industry’s goals. I also want to thank Amanda for her service to our organization.”

Fleet Advantage makes key promotions across departments

Fleet Advantage recently promoted six employees across multiple departments. These promotions reflect the company’s commitment to professional development, particularly for its female leaders in celebration of Women’s History Month in March.

Jackie Dusseau, CLFP, has been elevated to VP of data analytics and corporate development. She has played an integral role in strengthening Fleet Advantage’s analytics capabilities, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and developing data-driven strategies that benefit customers. Dusseau will further shape corporate development initiatives while continuing to mentor emerging talent.

Sandra Hora, CLFP, has been promoted to director of funding. Since joining Fleet Advantage in 2019, Hora has contributed to strengthening relationships with funding partners and leading the company syndication department’s funding coordinators. She will oversee credit line approvals and manage funding processes to support Fleet Advantage’s financial strategies.

Stepping into the role of marketing and digital coordinator, Tracy Derival has been an essential part of Fleet Advantage’s marketing team since 2020. Her creativity and expertise in digital content development have enhanced the company’s brand presence, mainly through social media and Fleet Advantage’s “Driving Success” podcast launch.

Katelyn DeStefano, now promoted to senior operations administrator, has distinguished herself over the past year with a strong ability to streamline operations and improve team workflows. DeStefano will take on an expanded leadership role, ensuring operational efficiencies continue to drive the company’s success.

Fleet Advantage’s marketing and community outreach efforts will continue to thrive under the leadership of Elizabeth Gomez, now as director of marketing and community outreach. Recently earning her Business Specialist – Marketing degree, she brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her expanded role.

Rounding out the promotions, Stephen Royer, CLFP, has been named senior accountant. His ability to adapt to increasing billing demands while maintaining service standards has made him a key figure within the company accounting team. Royer will take on additional supervisory responsibilities while continuing to refine internal processes for enhanced efficiency.

“We take pride in acknowledging the outstanding achievements of our talented team members, who continue to push boundaries and drive success at Fleet Advantage,” Brian Holland, president and CEO of Fleet Advantage, said. “These promotions are a testament to our commitment to professional growth and leadership development within our organization.”
