Chris Hines, former president & COO of Celadon Group, has joined Zonar Systems as executive vice president.
Hines has more than 25 years of financial and technological experience in the transportation industry. He will be based in Seattle, WA, reporting to Zonar president & CEO Brett Brinton. Hines will be responsible for developing and overseeing Zonar’s growth.
“Zonar is a highly innovative and profitable telematics company with a strong SaaS (Software-as-a-service) revenue stream and no burdensome legacy systems that have to be overcome to compete in today’s technology world. To say I am honored and excited to now be part of the Zonar team is a tremendous understatement,” said Hines.
Prior to joining Celadon Group, Hines served as president & CEO of Tripmaster Corp., now Mix Telematics. Earlier in his career, Hines was president & CEO of Atipical Holdings, a business he founded, focusing on transportation finance and technology mergers & acquisitions. Hines also served as president of Pegasus Transtech.
