Utility Trailer makes Bendix slack adjusters standard
Nov. 15, 2006
Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC has announced that Utility Trailer has added the Bendix ASA-5 automatic slack adjuster as standard equipment on all new trailer models
The Bendix ASA-5 slack adjuster, which features bronze bearing rings on the spline gear and durable clutch geometry, exceeds SAE’s 200,000-cycle durability test standard, Bendix said. Its seals and lubricants are resistant to external moisture and contaminants that can cause premature wear-out, Bendix added.
This announcement expands Utility’s use of Bendix ASA-5 to its refrigerated vans and Tautliners, in addition to its flatbeds and dry freight vans.
