Overnite becomes UPS Freight

United Parcel Service is changing the name of its Overnite Corp. subsidiary the holding company for Overnite Transportation and Motor Cargo to UPS Freight, effective May 1. The carriers will be known as UPS Freight LTL and UPS Freight TL, respectively. The re-branding includes a move to the UPS logo and a new web site for shipping and tracking, www.upsfreight.com. UPS Freight will operate independently

United Parcel Service is changing the name of its Overnite Corp. subsidiary — the holding company for Overnite Transportation and Motor Cargo — to UPS Freight, effective May 1. The carriers will be known as UPS Freight LTL and UPS Freight TL, respectively.

The re-branding includes a move to the UPS logo and a new web site for shipping and tracking, www.upsfreight.com. UPS Freight will operate independently of the UPS package delivery unit.
