Transport America has named two vice presidents to its sales team. Chris Duncan has joined the company as vice president-dedicated sales, and Laurie Murphy has been hired as vice president-Eastern region.
Transport America is an Eagan, MN-based transportation provider.
“We’re very excited to have Chris and Laurie on board,” said Scott Arves, president and CEO. “They both bring a wealth of experience to us and will contribute greatly to our growth and success.”
Duncan has over 23 years of experience in operational, customer service and sales roles, including designing and implementing dedicated solutions for the last seven years of his career, the company said.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Chris previously for over 15 years and am thrilled to have him leading our dedicated sales effort,” said Arves. “His blend of being able to design, price, and operationalize dedicated solutions will be a tremendous asset to exploding the growth of our dedicated business, which has already grown from nothing to $100M in the last six years.”
Murphy brings more than 20 years of sales experience with Fox Midwest, Celadon, and most recently with Gordon Transport, to the position.
