Freight factoring company Advance Business Capital (ABC) will host a free Texas-style barbeque for owner-operators, fleet owners, freight brokers and truck drivers, this Thursday, April 17, at the Pilot Travel Center in Fort Worth, Texas (exit 65 off I-35).
The “You Eat, We Listen” tour will feature the company’s The Money Pit, a custom-built mobile BBQ rig. Free sandwiches will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or until they are gone, whichever comes first.
“Barbeque is both a cuisine and an event, not something to be eaten alone indoors,” said Steve Hausman, ABC president and CEO. “We want to take this opportunity to get out and share our passion for good food and conversation.”
The Money Pit has two big vertical smokers, a 48-in. grill, deep fryers, an onboard generator, TV, and sound system.
The ABC BBQ team has cooked for company gatherings and local charities and is now hitting the road, traveling to truck stops and industry gatherings this spring and summer.
At this event, attendees can also receive details about ABC’s big giveaway, a Triumph 675R motorcycle, as part of its 10th anniversary celebration in September.
Founded in 2004, ABC provides recourse and non-recourse freight factoring to owner-operators, small to mid-sized trucking companies, and freight brokers in the United States. In addition to its principal service of purchasing accounts receivable, ABC offers a suite of back-office services including billing and collection, online credit checks, break-even analysis, business training, and fuel card purchasing management.
ABC is a Triumph Bancorp company.
