• A small trucking company in Australia has been forced to pay a former driver $6,000 after he was allegedly fired partly because of his half-shaved beard, according to Yahoo Finance.
• The city of Oregon received $1.5 million from the U.S. to remove air pollution in the city, and the city will use the funding to replace 23 diesel-fuelled tractor-trailers that travel more than 1.3 million miles a year, according to Energy Live News.
