Trade show trucks

March 8, 2012

It’s been a long week, working on the truck trade show circuit (though nothing NEARLY as tough as your typical day hauling freight on the asphalt I stress emphatically!)

In this particular case, we’re talking about the 2012 National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) convention, which just wrapped up today. For those who couldn’t attend, click on the links below to see the many different truck models on display from: Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Navistar, Hino Trucks, Isuzu, Mitsubishi Fuso, and Nissan Commercial Vehicles.

Like your trucks able to withstand not only the impact of road debris, but of bullets and rocket propelled grenades, too? Then check out this tough truck built by Supreme Armored.

We’ve even got a link up to the “green truck” ride and drive event sponsored by Hino at the NTEA’s annual wing-ding, now in Indianapolis for its third year.

However, those of us taking any those “green” vehicles out for a lazy spin around downtown Indy NEVER (and I say NEVAH!) attempted any of the daredevil maneuvers demonstrated below by the one and only Mike Ryan.

And for a far more politically incorrect highlight film of Ryan’s skill behind the wheel of his one-of-a-kind racing truck, check out the clip below.

Now THAT is what I call some serious driving!
