Caterpillar Lift Trucks has expanded its line of electric lift trucks by introducing its first 3,000- to 5,000-lb-capacity electric counterbalanced stand-up end-control lift truck. All four models-EC15KS, EC18KS, EC20KS, and EC25KS-are featured in a new 12-page color brochure that includes specifications for each model.

The side-stance operator's compartment provides on-off access with an 8" step height and an open entry space that measures 14.5". The compartment floor incorporates a 2 degree slope to keep the operator's foot close to horizontal when leaning back into the rear backrest. Ergomat padding on the floor and pedal helps improve lower body circulation.

This lift truck also relies on the GE MOSFET transistor controller, which Caterpillar says has half the component parts and more features than other transistor controllers.
