Cadec Global LLC, a newly formed, private equity-backed company, has completed the acquisition of Cadec Corp, provider of Mobile Information Systems for the transportation industry. Cadec Global will leverage the existing Cadec Corp business to provide a comprehensive suite of products for the fleet management industry. The “new” Cadec will continue to refine its product offerings while developing new systems.

Cadec Global was formed by two professional investment firms, Brú Venture Capital and Connemara Capital Co LLC, in January 2006. The acquisition will combine Cadec Global's financial and strategic assets with Cadec Corp's core strength of almost three decades of experience as a transportation-technology company, with an active installed base of more than 80,000.
