Captain D's Seafood has selected MBM Corp as its new product distributor. The Rocky Mount NC-based vendor officially became responsible for fulfilling product orders to nearly 90% of the chainÕs 565 locations in November.

The transition to MBM began earlier in 2003, when Nashville TN-based Captain D's moved its franchisees into a purchasing co-op designed to increase the quality and consistency of product served in its stores. All of the company-owned restaurants, along with a majority of its franchisees, will now be served by one of three MBM distribution centers that Captain D's is using, providing long-term savings on food.

As the chain continues to expand, Captain D's will have access to all of MBM's distribution points throughout the United States.
