Associated Grocers intends to expand its Baton Rouge LA warehouse and distribution center by nearly 20%.

Associated Grocers intends to expand its Baton Rouge LA warehouse and distribution center by nearly 20%, which will permit its member stores to offer a greater variety of meats, dairy, and grocery products.

This $7.3 million expansion will add 106,000 square feet to the warehouse and remodel another 44,300 feet. The project.should be finished by late summer 2005. Upon completion, Associated Grocers will provide more than 600,000 square feet of storage and distribution space.

Associated Grocers has more than 300 member stores in Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Alabama, and Mississippi.
