SuperValu Inc reported record results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007. The company reported record net sales of $10.3 billion, compared with $4.6 billion a year ago, as well as record net earnings of $119 million versus $6 million one year earlier.

For the fiscal 2007 full year, the supermarket chain reported record net sales of $37.4 billion, in contrast to $19.9 billion for fiscal 2006, and record net earnings of $452 million, compared with $206 million the year before.
