XATA Corp has reported that its new XATANET 2.0 web-based fleet management product is shipping in volume. The company also began shipping its flagship Windows-based OpCenter product with new two-way satellite communications capability.

Along with shipping the XATANET 2.0 product against orders placed in recent months, XATA entered into an agreement with a major truck leasing company to offer XATANET 2.0 to that company's lease customers throughout North America.

XATANET's vehicle package includes automated fuel tax, asset tracking, diagnostic warnings, and other fleet operational information. The driver package includes DOT driver logs, driver feedback, driver messaging, and trip and driver management.
