Paul Brownlee of Calhoun LA was the winner in the Five-Axle Sleeper Class of the Mississippi Trucking Association's State Driving Championship held May 4-5, 2002, in Biloxi MS. He will represent KLLM and Mississippi in the American Trucking Associations' National Truck Driving Championships.

Other KLLM drivers receiving honors included Richard A Beauchamp Jr of San Bernardino CA and Bill Fambro of Scottsville TX.
