LED Model 18 Lamp Truck-Lite Co Inc has introduced a new LED Model 18 marker/clearance lamp with a limited lifetime warranty. Measuring 4.5" long, 1" deep, and 1.63" high, the LED Model 18 uses the same standard mounting holes and accessories as a conventional Model 18 lamp. It's hard-wired and ready for termination, simplifying retrofit. Lens and housing are made of high-impact polycarbonate. For added protection, the Model 18 is available with Truck-Lite's DiamondShell hard coating.
The Model 18 operates at 14 volts, uses three diodes, and consumes .05 amp per lamp. Available in red or yellow, the lamp has a lens optics that allows it to be mounted horizontally or vertically with no rollback, making it suitable for side marker applications or reflector use. It complies with SAE J592 and J594 when mounted horizontally or vertically.
