More than 100 employees gathered recently to mark Consolidated Metal Products' 60th anniversary. From its beginning in 1945 as a small metalworking company supplying parts for military equipment, the Cincinnati OH-based firm has grown to become a major manufacturer of high-strength U-bolts for vehicular leaf spring and air suspensions.

Annually, more than 20 million pieces are produced in Consolidated Metal's 300,000-square-foot manufacturing complex. Parts are provided for North American and European manufacturers of light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks/tractors and independent producers of suspensions and integrated axle/suspension modules for semitrailers.
