Freight Glove LLC has been selected by the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) to receive the 2001 AmeriStar Award for its Freight Glove air and ground freight packaging solution. This award recognizes packaging products that uphold IoPP standards for innovation, protection, economics, performance, marketing, and environmental impact.
The Freight Glove is an environmentally friendly, reusable freight packaging that replaces traditional wrappings such as plastic. It protects goods against water damage and theft, and reduces waste. To use the product, freight to be shipped is built onto the base piece of a Freight Glove. Freight is then covered with the second piece of the Freight Glove. The Freight Glove then is zipped shut and secured with a tamper-evident lock.
