Sygic announces a new update for its truck navigation application. Sygic Truck Navigation is available for North America, expanding upon its current map pack for Europe and Russia. The new version is provided on Google Play with a 30% summer discount. Using specially defined maps with truck-specific features, Sygic Truck Navigation automatically avoid roads not suitable for trucks or specific cargoes. Drivers can choose the type of vehicle and employ special features like points of interest, parking places, and gas stations, or avoid roads not suitable for trucks, buses, or RVs.

This application operates fully offline. An Internet connection is only necessary during initial installation and activation of the software, for installing maps and updates, and for optional add-on services such as live traffic information and crowd-sourced police trap alerts.
