Preferred Freezer Services expands in Houston

Preferred Freezer Services (PFS), a provider of advanced design and engineered temperature-controlled warehouses, announces the newest addition to its continually expanding footprint in Houston TX.
Preferred Freezer Services (PFS), a provider of advanced design and engineered temperature-controlled warehouses, announces the newest addition to its continually expanding footprint in Houston TX. The company has expanded its busy Houston Express location (one of three facilities in the Houston area) to keep pace with customer demand. Customers in the area—and indeed across the entire PFS network—have consistently expressed the need for engaged and individual treatment in the handling of refrigerated products. The extension offers all of the traditional PFS perks such as a 24/7 online information system, on-site inspection capability, packing and labeling services, and convenient location to all major roadways and the port.
The expansion adds 84,686 square feet to existing freezer space and 13,058 square feet to the loading dock. The extension comprises 2,964,010 cubic feet of storage capacity. “We have a great team of people in the Houston market ready to serve current and new customers in this ever-expanding port,” said Brian Beattie, president of PFS. Preferred Freezer Services of Houston Express is now accepting product at its newest expansion. PFS,headquartered in Chatham NJ, is dedicated to designing, constructing, and operating state-of-the-art warehouses throughout the United States and Asia. It has grown from a single facility in 1989 to 34 locations and still growing.
