Andy Ellis, senior vice-president–supply chain and logistics for Walmart Canada, presented the Carrier of the Year award to Louie Tolaini, president the TransX Group of Companies.
Ellis recognized TransX for being an outstanding partner, delivering in excess of 89,000 shipments with a 99.6% on-time record. In addition to being a true partner, TransX was honored for leading by example through collaborative efforts in helping prepare other Walmart carriers for the forthcoming LCV (Long Combination Vehicle) program in Ontario and Quebec.
