EarthSearch Communications International's AutoSearch is an asset management system that combines GPS and RFID to track property assets in transit and in great detail.

It works by integrating RFID chip technology with AutoSearch GPS at the hardware level. This provides more detailed information about assets by tracking vehicles, drivers, and individual packages anywhere in the world.

An RFID reader picks up information stored on RFID chips located on packages, materials and/or inventory in a vehicle and sends it to the AutoSearchGPS unit. The unit then transmits in real-time the information, including location and time of the activity, to the EarthSearch server for the customers to view or download.

The systems send automatic silent alerts for unauthorized access to cargo or cargo areas. Application-specific sensors monitor conditions, such as vehicle speed and cargo door access. To learn more, access www.earthsearch.us.
