AmeriQuest Transportation Services, a provider of fleet management, financial, and operational support services, has relaunched its partnership with the Food Marketing Institute (FMI).

Formerly known as FoodFleetXchange, the AmeriQuest program will provide additional value-added programs, products, and services to FMI members, assisting them in reducing fleet operating costs.

FMI represents 1,250 food retailers and wholesalers, consisting of large multi-store chains, regional firms, and independent supermarkets with a combined annual sales volume of $650 billion. These members now can take advantage of these services through the AmeriQuest program:

Group purchasing—FMI members can save up to 20% on tires, parts, and supplies with access to programs from more than 100 of the industry’s leading suppliers.

Fleet planning and strategic financing—AmeriQuest provides strategic financing and fleet planning to assist companies in finding the optimal vehicle lifecycle and best financial structure for their fleets.

Used trucks—At www.ameriquestusedtrucks.com is one of the largest inventories available of low-mileage, late-model used trucks. Members also have a resource for the sale and remarketing of their used inventory.

National breakdown service—FMI members benefit from access to a 24/7 call center for tire and mechanical breakdowns. FMI has negotiated an exclusive rate for this breakdown service.

FMI conducts programs in public affairs, food safety, research, education and industry relations on behalf of its nearly 1,250 food retail and wholesale member companies in the United States and worldwide. US members operate more than 25,000 retail food stores and almost 22,000 pharmacies with a combined annual sales volume of nearly $650 billion. FMI’s international membership includes 126 companies from more than 65 nations. Visit www.fmi.org for further details.

By leveraging the strength of more than 700,000 vehicles, AmeriQuest delivers savings, expertise, and opportunities to its private fleet and truckload carrier members. More information can be found at www.ameriquestcorp.com.
