The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) has published the 2012-2013 Global Cold Chain Directory.

The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) has published the 2012-2013 Global Cold Chain Directory. This publication reaches more than 4,000 cold chain professionals worldwide, including members of several international food industry associations. Key government officials and the cold chain and food industry trade press also receive it.

The directory includes 464 pages of listings of cold chain providers. These providers are members of the Core Partners of GCCA, which represent all major industries engaged in temperature-controlled logistics. Providers are listed within these sections:

•Warehouses—International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses (IARW)

•Transportation—International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA)

•Construction—International Association for Cold Storage Construction (IACSC)

•Research & Education—World Food Logistics Organization (WFLO)

•Cold Chain Products & Services—IARW Associate Members

Within the six color-coded sections in the directory, food manufacturers, distributors, and retailers will find an international selection of cold storage warehouses, refrigerated transportation companies, cold storage design experts, and companies charged with providing support services to the cold chain industry. A detailed index makes it easy to find any company or association.

The Products & Services Index has been updated to better reflect today’s industry, adding categories such as “Solar,” “Transportation Management Systems,” and “Energy Management.” The directory also includes a new transportation index to simplify finding ports and truck carriers.

Included in the Partners section of the directory is a listing of GCCA Supporting Partners. These are food processors, retailers, and other food companies that desire a corporate relationship with GCCA and its international members and partners. This relationship empowers Supporting Partners to participate in—and prosper from—the growth of the cold chain in all regions of the world.

The directory is available free of charge to food manufacturers, grocers, foodservice employees, trucking companies, libraries, associations, trade press, and government bodies. To learn more or to request a copy, visit www.gcca.org or call +1-703-373-4300.
