IRTA elects new leaders

New officers and directors of the International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA) were recently elected by the IRTA membership.

New officers and directors of the International Refrigerated Transportation Association (IRTA) were recently elected by the IRTA membership.

John Williamson, chairman of E L Johnson’s Sons and Mowatt in Illford, Essex, United Kingdom, was elected 2011-2012 chairman of IRTA. Chris Mnichowski (Cold Train Intermodal Inc, Overland KS) was elected vice-chairman, and M K Wong (OOCL, San Ramon CA) was elected treasurer.

Newly elected to the IRTA board of directors were Peter Hurme (Cargo Business News, Seattle WA); Keith Mowery (United States Cold Storage, Voorhees NJ); Debbie McDowell (ICS Logistics, Jacksonville FL); and Matt Zerfoss (Pictsweet Foods, Bells TN).

These directors were re-elected to serve an additional term: Greg Bryan (Americold Logistics LLC, Atlanta GA); Ron Buford (Ranger Refrigerated Express, Grand Prairie TX); Thomas Keefer (Port of Wilmington, Wilmington DE); and Barbara J Pratt (Maersk Line, Madison NJ).
