IBIS Inc and McLane Logistics Technology have announced a strategic partnership. Microsoft Dynamics provider IBIS will immediately begin to offer Warehouse 3g, McLane Logistics Technology’s warehouse management system that is native to Microsoft Dynamics AX.
McLane Logistics Technology was founded by Drayton McLane and built on more than a century of experience in supply chain operations gained at grocery distributor McLane Company. The methodology and approach to supply chain operations used at McLane Co were acquired by Walmart in the early 1990s. This intellectual property around distribution also caught the eye of Microsoft—which is why McLane Logistics Technology partnered with Microsoft to develop the best-in-breed warehouse management system for the Microsoft Dynamics AX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system called Warehouse 3g.
